Brief bio

I am a creative director and entrepreneur with almost two decades of experience in digital art, design, business and creative strategy. As a trained architect, functional creative expressions excite me. I enjoy the process of using art and technology to build solutions to common problems and to grow wealth.

I'm the founder of Raknida; an art tech startup that is amplifying the economic opportunities and visibility for underrepresented digital artists globally, and Insecta Studios; a B2B creative services company that has worked with more than 200 local and international brands, helping them creatively achieve their brand goals and connect with their audience through environmental graphics design, effective brand communications and visual storytelling.

My creative works have been acknowledged through privileges I’ve been accorded, awards, recognitions and responsibilities; including advisory board membership on an European Union project, a nomination for The Future Awards Africa in Arts and Culture, an award by the Commonwealth Youth Programme (MDGs Art Competition), six awards for the Most Creative Student at the University of Nigeria (UNN) and most recently, the Arch Grants. I have also been featured in various publications by media organisations such as The Guardian, Techpoint, Pulse TV, Silverbird TV, Wazobia, Tech Africa, Tech Cabal etc.

My mission is to use art, design and tech to build enterprise and shape the future where visual creativity from underrepresented creators is celebrated globally.
