Bio

Anthony “Anth” Ezeokoye (b. 1989) is an international award-winning digital artist, trained architect, creative director, and creative technologist whose practice sits at the intersection of cultural storytelling and emerging media. A Nigerian based in St. Louis with professional roots across Africa’s creative industries, Anth builds visual worlds that move fluidly between illustration, motion, extended reality, artificial intelligence, and more, often treating technology not as a novelty but as a tool for authorship, access, and cultural continuity.

Across series, collections, and commissions, Anth’s work explores how heritage, identity, and narratives are constructed, often using contemporary African visual language to question what we inherit, how we perform, and who we choose to become.

In the A Queen & More art collection, he explores the many dimensions of womanhood through 12 character archetypes rendered in a vibrant, contemporary palette, using layered elements to honor choice, complexity, and self-definition. In the Mask Off collection, he positions African heritage as both inheritance and future legacy, using illustration, 3D digital production, and looping animation to ask what remains when performative “masks” fall away and how cultural values can be re-authored in contemporary life. His calligraphic portrait series—“The Autograph”—fuses typography, symbolism, and precise craftsmanship, constructing faces from names, dates, quotes, and lived histories.

Anth’s wider career extends into building creative infrastructure. He is the founder of Raknida, an art-tech platform expanding access to cultural stories by underrepresented digital artists through a growing suite of products and experiences spanning discovery, collection, and display. He has presented and directed creative projects across cultural, art, and design festivals and public-facing contexts. His creative direction through his businesses, Insecta Studios (a creative services company based in Lagos, Nigeria) and Raknida Inc. (based in St. Louis, USA), has received international recognition, including Arch Grants Awards, SOVAS Voice Arts Awards, One Voice Awards USA, and a Future Awards Africa nomination in Arts and Culture.

Inspired to Design the future

Sharing is a vital aspect of my creative process. I share through mentorship, collaboration and creative advocacy. I firmly believe that our collective efforts to transmit our processes, lessons and systems after we have developed them is crucial for the future of creativity in Africa and the world. The future is designed through this.

MY MISSION

to use art, design and tech to build enterprise and shape the future where visual creativity from Africa is celebrated globally.

I’m currently working on...

I am building Raknida as founder and CEO. Our vision is to make art accessible and enjoyable for everyone. So we’re creating arttech solutions that connect art lovers with curated artworks for their spaces, and supporting black and African artists (who’re highly underrepresented) to earn from their art.

A Queen & More is my creation; A collection of 360 NFTs artworks that showcase and celebrates the diversity of every women and her choices. Each character represents a different aspect of femininity and womanhood.
